I want to break free..
Emm and I were talking on the possibility of a weekend getaway or holiday somewhere. Well, I do it often..talk about going off somewhere, that is. Sometimes it happens, most of the time - not really. Apart from my Umrah trip earlier, the only getaway I have was going back to Terengganu. *The recent one was not even near relaxing!*
As much as Emm needs a break from everything that has been bugging her, I realise that I am in dire need of one too. Away from work *and Crazy Woman*, away from the family plans and schedules *and moody sisters-in-law*, and away from this tug-of-war situation I am in right now.
Suddenly, the idea of the sand, the sea and being away from it all sounds really appealing.

My first trip back to Msia after 10 years, I went to Redang and had the best of time! Last time I went to Andaman in Langkawi and that was different - more pedicured almost and totally overpriced. Redang had way more authenticity. Hope to make it back there next year. Maybe I'll see you there ;-)
i have a week to do something or go somewhere before i start my new job. where can i go without blowing my bank account?
Oreos : God willing, we'll go. But looking at my schedule, it might have to be after raya *sigh*
Ian : I love Redang! So peaceful and soooo beautiful. Yup, maybe we'll bump into each other next year *winks*
Muddy : My friend went to Penang, just lazing by the beach and had the time of the life. Or, you can always go to the islands. Just don't book a package. Take a bus to Terengganu. Get to the jetty and take the boat over and stay at one of those small chalets.

ah, i always say i'll go for a getaway.. n then i never do... :-(
I'd say GO FOR IT!!
I think it would be extremely therapeutic (not to mention fun!!) to have an all-girls outing.
If not because I takleh travel currently, I'd buat muka tak malu n ikut!! Hehehe ;)
