The storks came visiting..
For the past few months, I kept asking myself how happy I really was. At times, life feels rather empty. It is like I am just going through the motions. Going to work before the sun goes up, come home after it sets, dinner, tv or books and sleep. And the cycle repeats itself..day by day..week by week..month by month. For a couple that have been together for almost 8 years, familiarity can be such a bummer sometimes. Elements of surprise can be verrry long in between.
Life is slowly becoming so routine..so predictable..so.. BORING.
Until a miracle came our way. A routine check-up with Dr Siti turned out to be a wonderful surprise. In between of doing a pap smear and looking at potential dead cells problem, she noticed a small water bag. She chased us off to the lab, and lo and behold..this lioness is now with a bun in the oven. Scared as I am, I can't think of a better time for Allah to grant us this gift.
Alhamdulillah. Wish this future mommy good luck, people.
